Passenger and Light Truck Tires

Performance
Performance car enthusiasts have special needs in tires. Generally, they are seeking tires that offer a degree of handling, grip and cornering ability superior to that of other tires. Since they require a higher degree of performance from their tires, the tires must be able to withstand significantly higher temperatures. These consumers are typically willing to accommodate some tradeoffs in tread wear and ride comfort to attain this high degree of performance.
All Season Performance
In order to provide all-season capability for enthusiasts, a new category has developed over the past few years - all season performance tires, which feature performance enhancement, longer mileage and lasting value as well as good traction on snow and ice.
Touring
Designed to blend a performance tire’s appearance and handling with a passenger tire’s smooth, comfortable ride. Standard touring tires have good tread wear and year round traction even in light snow.
All Season
All-season tires provide a good balance for drivers looking for increased traction in rain or snow as well as the handling, ride and tread wear benefits offered by touring tires.
Cold Weather
Cold weather tires provide maximum traction in snowy and icy conditions. The tread is designed for maximum grip in those conditions, and the tire is also constructed out of special material that remains pliable in cold weather. The trade-off for this increased traction is increased noise levels and more rapid tread wear.
Warm Weather
Warm weather tires are designed for wet and dry weather driving but not recommended for use on snow or ice as they do not provide the degree of traction offered by snow and all-season tires. Check your vehicle, and if equipped with warm weather tires, you should seriously consider both all season tires for all year driving or alternating with winter tires during the cold months.
Off-Road
The Off Road All Terrain tire has as much capability off the road as it does on the road. The tread blocks are multifaceted to help deliver traction from any direction on dirt, sand, gravel, and snow. Whether your off-road adventures are on trails or snow covered highways, deep mud or loose rock, off road tires bite into loose or muddy surfaces for maximum traction to propel the vehicle forward. While these tires emphasize off road travel, the newest designs are refined for highway travel, too.
